Toasty Felt Cloche

Let's get the season going with this cute and comfy cloche. Bring size 8 needles (16 inch circular and double points ) and Lots of scraps of worsted weight yarn. Make sure you bring feltable wool only! No superwash! This project is perfect way to use up little buts, swap with friends, or start with a brand new ball.

Curious about Fair Isle knitting? Here's your chance to dive in. Bring size 5 needles (16 inch circular) and 2 colors of light sport yarn. If you want to get ahead of the class cast on 136 stitches, join into a circle and knit 2 purl 2 for 1 inch.

We will look at stress points of socks and how to make invisible repairs where possible. Bring an afflicted sock, some matching yarn, a tapestry needle and double points.

Ever wondered how Bias Knitting works?. In April we will be making a two color Bias scarf with a pretty nifty edge stitch. Our example uses 1 skein each of Louisa Harding's Impression and Sevilla to create a subtle striping effect with plenty of drape.

Materials: size 6 needles, 1 skein of 100+ yards each of ribbon yarn and mohair type in double knitting weight.

Can't wait for Spring? In March we will be making a felted bird's nest that will brighten your days until the real articles show up. Our examples use 1 skein of Magallanes or Lamb's Pride Worsted and a little bit of novelty yarn if desired. Peeps not included.

Materials: size 15 Double Points, 1 skein of worsted weight yarn will make 2 nests, some novelty yarn and markers.
